The Lebanese street food chain Barbar is now opening a new branch in Egypt, after a series of expansions, in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, according to Barbar Egypt Instagram post's on Monday. The new branch is set to open on The Drive – Ring Road, with the capacity to accommodate 400 customers over 1,200 square meters, making it one of the largest Barbar branches in the Middle East. Barbar will serve Lebanese dishes, including manakish, shawarmas, mixed grill, sandwiches, mezza and falafel along with a selection of cocktails. The reason for opening the new branch is that Egypt an important market for the restaurant, as Egyptian tourism to Lebanon has increased the brand recognition in the past decade, Barbar's CEO Ali Ghaziri, told 961. "We've packed a part of Lebanon, and we're bringing it to the heart of Cairo! Wait for it!" Barbar captioned its Instagram post. Ghaziri added that Food and Beverage industries are boosting now in Egypt as the market curving the Lebanese food.
