The saying "give him an inch and he'll take a yard" is applied to the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) MP Hassan Nasha'at, who has previously accused the opposition of treason during the Gaza massacre. During the discussion of the Central Auditing Organization (CAO)'s report at the People's Assembly [PA], Nasha'at insulted the people who elected him MP. Commenting on the CAO report that exposed the government and its unreliability and irresponsibility, Nasha'at said: "The report is good, the government is good, but the people are bad." I want to tell Nasha'at that his immunity, the PA minutes from which the PA Speaker Ahmed Fathi Sorour canceled his sentence, or the dictatorship of the majority will not prevent the fury of the people you described as bad. If this MP knew the merit of the people he insulted, he would bow to kiss their feet and then their heads, but he can not understand this because he is impolite. I want to tell this MP that his behavior, words and presence in the parliament are bad. The report is good, the government is good, but it is you who is bad, Mr. Nasha'at! Mr. Nasha'at, you are bad and the worst thing is that you are an MP. If the parliament is good, it should dismiss you due to your impoliteness. Dr. Sorour, who has high legal principles, did bad when he deleted your bad sentence from the minutes. I call on Sorour to punish Nasha'at before he insults him saying he is bad!
NDP Secretary General Safwat al-Sharif also did bad when he did not stand firmly in the face of this MP. Al-Sharif should make Nasha'at shut up because he has become a burden on the shoulders of the NDP, which suffers from MPs like Nasha'at.
The Secretary of the NDP Organization Committee Ahmed Ezz also did bad when he prevented the majority from voting with the opposition to get rid of this bad MP. Ezz does not like insults to the people on whom he bets to win the 2010 elections. If Ezz do not help people to get their rights after this insult, these people will not elect him among the NDP members once again.
The opposition did bad when it kept silent over these insults to good people. When Nasha'at accused the opposition of treason, the opposition MPs threw shoes at him, but when he insulted all the good people, no one commented! How can an MP insult the good people who elect him every five years hoping he will achieve their goals and dreams?
