Egyptian Shahd al-Hosseiny Qualifies to Semi-finals

Sharm El-Sheikh (Egypt) - Shahd al-Hosseiny, Egyptian Taekwondo player, qualified to the semi-finals on August 24 in the 3rd World Taekwondo Cadet Championship that is held in Egypt.
Hosseiny managed to qualify on Thursday to the semi-finals of the tournament after defeating Lithuanian champion Yung-Li Liu with a score of 22-7.
On a similar note, Egypt's Taekwondo player Omar Salem was able to qualify to the quarterfinals of the same tournament in the early hours of Thursday.
Salem qualified to the quarterfinals after beating Finland's champion with a score of 30-20. Salem is expected to play against the winner of the match between Iceland and Ukraine in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt hosts the 3rd World Taekwondo Cadet Championship from August 24 to August 27.
