The number of tourists visited Egypt fell to 51.7 percent in May 2016, according to the statics of tourism released by Egypt's Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). The number of tourists has decreased to 431.8 thousand tourists from all over the world in May, compared to 894.6 thousand tourists visited Egypt at the same time in 2015," the CAPMAS announced. The report pointed out that the decline in Russian tourists' number has affected the statics, it fell by 61.3 percent, followed by tourists from UK by 12.9 percent, Germany by 10 percent and Italy by 4.2 percent.
