Administrative Court will consider Tuesday the lawsuit that demands the removal of Chairman of Central Auditing Agency, Hesham Genena, Youm7 News reported. The trial was adjourned past Tuesday to include the report of the fact-finding committee report, which refutes Genena's claims about the corruption inside state's institutions. Lawyer Tarek Mahmoud has filed a lawsuit against Genena, 61, accusing him of deliberately misleading the public opinion, by claiming that corruption inside ministries reached EGP 600bln for 2015 only, which led to retreating foreign investments in Egypt, fearing the corruption. Mahmoud demanded President al-Sisi to exempt Genena from office. Central Auditing Agency is a state agency tasked with overseeing the government's finances.
