The Permanent envoy to the UN in Geneva, Ambassador Amr Ramadan expressed Egypt's concern over the severe violation of human rights in Turkey during the meeting of UN Human Rights Council. Ramadan condemned the Turkish foreign policies and the Turkish leadership support for violence in the region, while cracking down on peaceful demonstrations in Turkey, calling on Turkey to refrain from supporting terrorist organizations Military and logistically. He criticized the contradiction in Turkey's stance on the freedom of speech, by leading the international debate on the cause on one hand and banning Twitter and YouTube on the other hand. Turkish Foreign Ministry criticized the Egyptian police for its brutality against peaceful protestors marking the 4th anniversary of January 25 uprising, adding that Egypt will not restore stability and security by oppressing its people, according to a statement released Tuesday.
