Sun 10, 6pm: “The Land, the Peasant, and the Investor: A Study on the Issues of Agriculture and Peasants in Egypt”, a seminar features Saqr El-Nour, a sociologist and researcher at the Institute for Research and Development. His researches deal with food transformations and rural dynamics in North Africa and the Middle East in modern and contemporary times. He published a book on the same topic in 2017.
