Egypt's handball icon Ahmed El-Ahmar said on Sunday that the Pharaohs do not fear any opponents as they are on a quest for an Olympic medal. Egypt will take on Germany in the quarterfinals of the ongoing Olympic Games on Tuesday. "If you want to go for a medal, you're going to face the toughest opponents," El-Ahmar told Reuters on Sunday, hours after helping the Pharaohs beat Bahrain 30-20 in the final day of the Group Stage. "Our mission against Germany will not be easy, but we are ready for any opponents," the Egyptian right back told the DPA. "We have a good knowledge of the German side, as we faced them in a friendly just ahead of the Olympics." "We lost in the friendly, but in Tokyo, I think it will be different," he said.
