Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese greeted President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and all Egyptian Muslims on the occasion of the advent of the holy fasting month of Ramadan. Delivering his weekly sermon on Wednesday, the pontiff also greeted all Muslims in all Arab countries on this holy occasion, wishing them happiness and health. The pope delivered the weekly sermon at Abbasiya Cathedral without the attendance of any worshippers as part of precautionary measures imposed over the current coronavirus pandemic. The sermon was aired live on Coptic satellite channels and church's social media sites.
