The Egyptian General Intelligence Service has organized a two-day global intelligence forum for counter-terrorism. High-level delegations representing security and intelligence services in 44 countries participated in the forum's 1st edition. The participants focused on enhancing security cooperation in the field of combating terrorism. They also discussed ways to promote intellectual confrontation with these terror groups, especially through social media platforms. The forum issued several recommendations calling for boosting international counter-terrorism coordination while avoiding linking terrorism to any religion.
