Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said Wednesday the state is determined to continue to fight the heinous terrorism and its criminal elements, asserting that through the Armed Forces and the police it has succeeded in curbing terror operations. During a cabinet meeting, which started with observing a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs of terrorist attacks, Madbouli asserted that efforts to combat such operations will continue alongside development efforts across the country. He reviewed preparations for hosting the Arab-European Summit next week in Sharm El Sheikh, which will be attended by kings, heads of state and officials of various world nations. The forum is a great opportunity to tackle many issues of common concern, mainly terrorism, illegal migration and development efforts, he added. The cabinet meeting was attended by newly-appointed Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Dr Assem El-Gazzar for the first time.
