Zamalek keeper Mahmoud 'Gennesh' Abdel-Rehim was handed an EGP 30,000 fine for engaging in clashes following a 1-1 draw with Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday. The Egyptian international was caught on television cameras clashing with a member of Smouha's technical staff as both teams left the pitch at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab Stadium. It was not immediately clear what caused the brawl. Zamalek were held to a 1-1 draw by Smouha in a nervy game that saw the latter team waste a penalty in injury time. The White Knights are second in the league table with 14 points, one behind leaders Pyramid. Zamalek, who are bidding for their first league title since 2015, will face Arab Contractors on Sunday.
