Egypt is willing to provide all assistance to Chad: Sisi
Published in Ahram Online on 17 - 08 - 2017

During a visit to Chad, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi said that Egypt is keen to provide all needed assistance to the country, adding that his visit aims at ensuring cooperation, peace, development, and stability.
El-Sisi was speaking during a joint press conference with Chad's President Idriss Deby on Thursday, Arabic daily Al-Ahram reported.
The Egyptian president arrived in N'Djamena on Thursday, the last stop of his four-state African tour.
He also praised Chad's efforts in fighting terrorism in the Sahel region.
Adding that combating terrorism requires a comprehensive confrontation through culture, education, and other areas, El-Sisi said that "we will always work together to combat all the challenges that our people face, and take responsibility for achieving welfare, progress and stability.”
El-Sisi was received on Thursday by President Deby and top Chadian government officials.
The two presidents discussed bilateral relations as well as boosting cooperation in the civilian and military fields.
Deby last visited Egypt in December 2014, and the two leaders met in New York in September of the same year on the sidelines of a United Nations General Assembly.
El-Sisi has visited Tanzania, Rwanda and Gabon this week, and has held talks with his counterparts on fostering mutual economic and trade ties.
