Hamas have sent an urgent message to Egyptian leaders, calling on them to intervene to stop Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip following an air strike by Israel a few hours ago which killed two Palestinian activists, reported the Israeli Army Radio. Israel's Channel Ten said Hamas asked Egypt to intervene by declaring a truce between both sides, while also calling on the UN to stop Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip. Israeli newspaper Maariv said Palestinian militants fired locust missiles on Israeli cities in the south without causing any damage or casualties. The Israeli army announced its readiness along the borders with Egypt to redeploy troops in fear of revengeful attacks by the Palestinian resistance movements in response to an Israeli air strike that killed Palestinian militants from the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
