Security across Egypt is at the highest level and prepared to face any riots, said General Hamdy Badeen, a member of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), when commenting on security measures for runoffs in the first round of parliamentary elections. He said that more than 95 percent of the armed forces were helping secure the vote. Badeen said military leadership inspected electoral commissions.
