CAIRO: Committees to receive the recently elected members of the People's Assembly, the lower house of Egypt's bicameral parliament, will begin working tomorrow in the Pharaonic Lobby. Each parliamentarian will receive their membership card and take a copy of the bylaws of the assembly, the constitutional declaration, the history of the parliament, and the laws of political rights, disrupting political life, and the People's Assembly's law. Last week Egypt held the first of three rounds of elections for the People's Assembly. Nine governorates voted for their representatives. Run-off elections for individual seats not won by an outright majority will be held Monday and Tuesday.
