Egypt's stock market managed to achieve notable gains today, Monday, especially since Arab investors held increasing purchase processes, while medium and small indexes witnessed losses because Egyptian investors increased their sales process. Egypt's main index EGX30 rose by 0.27 percent, EGX20 by 0.16 percent while EGX70 declined by 1.7 percent and EGX100 dropped by 1.1 percent. Foreign investors seized 32.95 percent of the dealings today while Egyptians seized 61.11 percent and Arabs seized 5.94 percent. A number of leading shares achieved gains such as Sodic by 0.55 percent, Orascom Telecom by 0.63 percent, Telecom Egypt by 1.4 percent, International Commercial Bank by 1.5 percent and Orascom Construction Industries by 0.03 percent. Other shares witnessed losses such as al-Qalaa by 2.8 percent, General Giza for contracting by 1 percent and Amer Group by 0.92 percent.
