The Justice Party, Egypt Freedom Party, National coalition, Egyptian Trend and the Revolution Youth Coalition held a meeting in secret yesterday at the headquarters of the Justice Party to discuss the formation of a new electoral coalition among the parties. They decided to do so after the National Coalition withdrew from the Egyptian mass after accusations of including members of Egypt's formerly ruling National Democratic Party on its lists, although the electoral committee denied this. The four parties and the coalition will hold intensive meetings around the clock to decide if they are going to run in the elections under one list, to confront the former regime's forces and remnants of the National Democratic Party, according to sources. Sources said the new coalition will depend on three main principles: to rapidly end the transitional phase; democratic conversion; and achieving the revolution's goals and social justice.
