CAIRO: Egypt's Ministry of Tourism has canceled last Thursday's decision requiring tourists not in official tour groups to obtain visas prior to arrival, said First Assistant Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou. Tourism Minister Fakhry Abdel Nour agreed with the Cabinet to not change tourist visa procedures, Zaazou added. Tour operators, travel agents, the Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Tourism and members of the Egyptian tourism market abroad were informed of the decision to cancel the amendment to tourist visa requirements, he added.
