04:53 Abdel Hamid Ibrahim Rashed, the sixth witness in Mubarak's trial, confessed that police officers received orders to replace the birdshot with live bullets to face demonstrators on January 28. The seventh witness, Tareq Abdel Moneim, one of those injured in the revolution, said the Egyptian Ministry of Interior had snipers, but denied that he saw any one of the snipers. He added that the security forces directly shot bullets at the demonstrators as he was injured and another demonstrator was killed beside him during the Revolution. Both witnesses are police officers in the Ministry of Interior. 04:29 Martyrs' families attacked the lawyer who defends al-Adly's assistant Ahmed Ramzy. The demonstrators chanted, "You defend the thieves!" They also threw stones and water at him. In addition they tried to destroy his car but the security forces intervened. 06:20 pm Cairo Criminal Court chaired by Judge Ahmed Refaat adjourned Mubarak's trial until tomorrow to continue listening to witness testimonies. The court acquitted the fifth witness who was detained for perjury for changing his testimony during the trial. On Saturday, the trial will resume to investigate the evidences in the Egyptian High Judicial House. The trial will then continue for three days next week, starting on Monday. The Court also officially summoned Hussein Tantawi, head of Egypt's ruling military council; Sami Anan, army chief of staff; and Omar Suleiman, intelligence chief and former vice president, to appear in court next week. 04:00 pm Presiding Judge Ahmed Refaat decided to adjourn the hearing of former Egyptian president Mubarak's murder trial, his sons Gamal and Alaa, former Minister of Interior Habib Al-Adly and six of Al-Adly's assistants for the third time, for Quarter hour, according to the demand of the lawyers. The lawyers demanded the adjournment to organize themselves, regarding the chaos spread all over the court hall. It is the third time for the hearing to be adjourned after the hearing the sixth and the seventh witnesses, so the court release its verdict after deliberation. 02:28 p.m Central Security Forces facilitated the exit of the supporters of former Egyptian president Mubarak from the rear gate to prevent clashes with anti-Mubarak protestors. Some Mubarak supporters protested outside of the trial, despite an announcement on their official page on Facebook that they would not attend. Mubarak supporters clashed with anti-Mubarak protestors in the early morning. 01:37 p.m The presiding judge of Mubarak's trial, Ahmed Refaat, adjourned the trial for another 15 minutes following chaos that erupted after fifth witness Mohammad Abdel Hakim was arrested for changing his testimony. 01:36 p.m The fifth witness in Mubarak's trial changed his testimony, saying that police used tear gas and not live bullets during the January 25 Revolution. A defense lawyer confronted the witness with his previous testimony that said live bullets were used. When a lawyer asked him how the police dealt with demonstrators, the witness said police used batons and tear gas. He added he did not know who shot the protestors. 01:10 pm One of the defense lawyers requested the witnessing of Hillary Clinton, Minister of U.S. Department of States, in the case of killing protestors during January 25 Egyptian Revolution. He asked for the records of the U.S. Department of States which include recordings for former Egyptian President Mubarak and former Minister of Interior Al-Adly, while giving orders to kill protestors. He also asked to hear the witnessing of Maj.Gen. Mohsen El Fangary, after his statements to Egyptian Television, saying if the army obeyed the orders of killing protestors, the revolution wouldn't have occurred. Another lawyer asked the witnessing of Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf because he is aware of information related to the smuggled money abroad. It is mentioned that Sharaf is pursuing negotiations to recall the money back from Switzerland and foreign Banks. 12:04 p.m A lawyer representing the families of those killed in the January 25 Revolution told the jury that they are not content with how the court is treating them, and that the lawyers will not allow the court to continue its current approach. He added the lawyers were shocked after witnesses changed their testimonies. The lawyer asked the court to summon former First Lady Suzanne Mubarak and Egyptian Chief of Staff Sami Enan to testify, along with Field Marshall Hussein Tantawi, the head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, and former vice-president Omar Suleiman. Mubarak and his sons Alaa and Gamal were astonished when they heard the request to summon the former first lady. Amir Salem, a police officer's lawyer, said 25 lawyers have been insulted or threatened. According to Salem one was told "he who will open his mouth and raise his voice, will be beaten by the shoe and be dismissed outside the court." Salem called the court to investigate the incident. Another lawyer, Abdel Aziz Amer, said the public prosecutor did not seize guns used in the January 25 Revolution or the bullets taken from martyr's bodies yet. Another civil defense lawyer asked the court to release two of al-Adly's assistants after the witnesses changed their testimonies. The lawyer shouted at Mubarak "You are the worst president in Egyptian history." 12:48 p.m Presiding Judge Ahmed Refaat resumed the trial after it was adjourned, according to the prosecution. 12:22 p.m One of the prosecutors says he has reports proving the Mubarak deposited $620 billion in Barclays International Bank on 17 Dec. 2009. He contests claims of Mubarak's defense that the former President has no assets in international accounts. 11:48 a.m -- Presiding judge over trial of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak Ahmed Refaat adjourned the trial for 15 minutes after chaos ensued inside the courtroom. 11:28 a.m -- Former Head of the Egyptian Bar Association Sameh Ashor withdrew from the court after a lawyer defending the families of January 25 Revolution martyrs allegedly insulted Mubarak. 11:12 a.m -- Today the trial of Egyptian ousted President Hosni Mubarak, his sons, former Minister of Interior Habib al-Adly, and six assistants of al-Adly will resume in the Cairo Criminal Court at the Police Academy in the Fifth Settlement.
