The projectiles used in the attacks on Egyptian soldiers last night were of the expanding variety, meaning that death was intentional, reported the public prosecutor of Arish. The Arish public prosecutors, under the supervision of Abdul Nasser El Tayeb, began their investigation into the events last night in the Negev area in central Sinai on the Egypt-Israel border. A number of security personnel deaths have been reported from Israeli fire. The prosecution team moved to the Arish public hospital to view the bodies of the deceased. One officer died from gunshot wounds to the head, which completely crushed the skull, a second died from a gunshot wound to the heart and a third died from gunshots to the abdomen. Another soldier died from seven bullet wounds in different parts of his body, and another was wounded by a shot to the foot that severed an artery.
