CAIRO: The second session of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's trial negatively affected the morning session of Monday's stock market. Egypt's bourse suffered from losses after Arab and foreign investors sold shares, while the Egyptians focused on buying. The main index, Egy x 30, lost about 0.10 percent in the first half hour of trading, while the index of the small and medium companies, Egy x 70, rose by 0.19 percent and the index Egy x 100, rose to be 0.12 percent. A number of big shares witnessed a notable loss in the morning dealings such as al-Qalaa (0.71%), Orascom Telecom (1.2%), Ezz Steel (1.5%), Palm Hills (0.56%), Sodic (1.6%), and Egyptian for Resorts (1.9%).
