Ahli and Egypt right-back Ahmed Fathi is hopeful of sealing a loan switch to Hull City after the English Championship side expressed interest in his services. Ahli marketing director Magdi Tolba had revealed that Hull, owned by Egyptian businessman Assem Allam, unofficially made overtures for duo Fathi and Geddo. As a tangible offer has yet to reach Cairo, the 28-year-old Fathi hopes to have a second adventure in England, nearly six years after his short stint at Sheffield United. "The chance of playing in England doesn't happen every day, on personal level, I hope to experience overseas football again," Fathi told reporters on Monday. "For sure I will not leave without Ahli's consent, I just hope officials show some flexibility in negotiations to allow me move to Hull." Fathi, who has been with Ahli for more than five years now, is attached to the club till the end of the 2014 season. Hull have been dealt a recent blow when Ahmed Elmohamady was recalled by parent club Sunderland from his loan with the Tigers, with Fathi regarded as a potential replacement should the deal go through.
