Emad Meteb returned from injury to score in Ahli's friendly win over Harras Hodoud and is now fit to feature against Ethiopian Coffee in next week's Champions League round of 32 return leg. Meteb, who has been sidelined for several months with injury, has not played since a 1-1 league draw with MCDR back in December. But the Egypt striker was introduced at half time in the warm-up meeting with Hodoud, scoring after nine minutes in the match staged behind closed doors. Veteran Mohamed Barakat, who also came on as a second-half sub, doubled the lead eight minutes from time following good work from Dominique da Silva and Meteb. Ahli take on Ethiopian champions Coffee at Military Academy Stadium next Sunday as it remains to be seen whether the tie would be staged behind closed doors amid security concerns in Egypt.
