Zamalek assistant coach Ismail Youssef held defender Hazem Emam responsible for an altercation with an ultras fan on Thursday. Emam, who stormed out of training throwing his shirt to the ground back in November as he almost headed out of the club, was involved in a heated exchange with a member of the Ultras White Knights related to his then tantrum. The fan angrily reminded Emam of the incident as the latter replied furiously before members of the club had contained the situation. “Fans always have an excuse. They have taken a lot for the sake of the team,” coach Youssef told FilGoal.com. “Hazem shouldn't have replied and got himself involved in such an argument. He should have been more tolerant.” Emam, 23, has been at the center of several controversial incidents since emerging as a Zamalek youngster a few years ago. The pacey wing-back's recent unsettlement cost him his place in the team's starting eleven as Ahmed Samir is now Hassan Shehata's first-choice man on the right.
