Mohamed Zidan's form in friendly games was not enough to make him a part of Borussia Dortmund's thumping victory at former club Hamburg. The Egypt forward, who scored four goals in two mid-season friendlies in Spain, remained as an unused sub in Dortmund's 5-1 thrashing of HSV. Kevin Grosskreutz opened the scoring as Polish duo Robert Lewandowski and Jakub Błaszczykowski scored two goals apiece for the German champions. Lucas Barrios - who like Zidan is poised to leave Signal Iduna - featured for nine minutes in the massive away victory. The three points helped Dortmund level with leaders Bayern Munich on 37 points as Schalke also have the same record in third place.
