Zamalek have been hit by an EGP 150,000 fine in the wake of the violence that marred their recent league game with Wadi Degla. As soon as they learnt that rivals Ahli are ahead by three goals against Arab Contractors, the angry Zamalek fans rioted before clashing with security forces at the Cairo Stadium. A member of the police was injured as most of the seats at the stadium were evacuated following the events. In the same context, Zamalek midfielder Shikabala has been fined EGP 30,000 for entering the pitch despite being banned for the game. Shikabala, who was sent off in last week's visit to Ittihad, was present with the Zamalek fans wearing the team's shirt during the 1-1 draw with Degla. The FA's disciplinary committee also imposed a two-match ban on Ismaili's Mohab Saied, who spat at his own-club fans after scoring in the 5-0 win over Military Production.
