Moroccan side FUS Rabat are determined to beat Harras Hodoud for the second time in the space of seven days, coach Hussein Amouta said on Thursday. Rabat went top of Group B in the CAF Confederation Cup after defeating Egyptian side Hodoud 1-0 at home last Sunday, thanks to a second-half goal from Rachid Rokki. Both sides meet again in Alexandria on Sunday, with Rabat looking to edge closer to a place in the semi finals of Africa's secondary club competition. "We respect Hodoud but we came to Egypt to ensure our group leadership," Amouta told FilGoal.com. "We lie on top of the group with three matches remaining but we need to beat Hodoud to come to within touching distance of going through." Rabat have six points, two ahead of Tunisia's Sfaxien and Zanaco of Zambia. Egyptian Cup holders Hodoud lie at the bottom on two points after drawing with Sfaxien and Zanaco before losing to Rabat. The military club are making their third successive appearance in the Confederation Cup group stage, having failed to go beyond this round during the past two seasons. "Rabat snatched victory in Morocco through a sudden goal but we are determined to make amends and win by a bigger than one-goal margin," Hodoud coach Tarek Al-Ashri said. "We will not repeat the mistakes we made against Rabat in Morocco." The Confederation Cup has evaded Egyptian teams since it was formed in 2004 after the African Cup Winners' Cup and the CAF Cup were merged.
