A detailed list of the previous Egyptian Super Cups ahead of Sunday's game between league champions Ahli and cup winners Harras Hodoud. Winners: Ahli (5): 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 Zamalek (2): 2001, 2002 Arab Contractors (1): 2004 Harras Hodoud (1): 2009 Runners-up: Zamalek (3): 2003, 2004, 2008 ENPPI (2): 2005, 2006 Ghazl Mahalla (1): 2001 Ismaili (1): 2007 Arab Contractors (1): 2002 Ahli (1): 2009 Details: Zamalek 2-1 Ghazl Mahalla (2001): Ahli's withdrawal from the first edition of the Super Cup allowed Ghazl Mahalla to face Zamalek instead of them. Zamalek took the lead via a goal from former playmaker Hazem Emam, now a club board member, after two minutes but Mahalla's Mohamed Al-Etrawi restored parity with 13 minutes remaining. Striker Hossam Hassan, who is now the head coach of Zamalek, gave the Cairo giants a precious win in the second half of extra time. Zamalek 1-0 Arab Contractors (2002): Zamalek retained their title after a hard-fought victory over a resilient Arab Contractors side. They needed a goal from striker Osama Nabih, who used to be a fringe player, in the last minute of extra time to wrap up their second Super Cup victory. Ahli 0-0 Zamalek, 3-1 on penalties (2003): The third edition of the annual competition witnessed a high-profile clash between Cairo rivals Ahli and Zamalek. But fans were disappointed to watch a dull game in which neither side failed to create clear-cut opportunities as the match ended goalless. Ahli had the upper hand in the penalty shootout to win the trophy for the first time. Arab Contractors 4-2 Zamalek (2004): Zamalek made their fourth successive Super Cup appearance after winning their last league title to date in 2004 but were stunned by a Hassan Shehata-inspired Contractors side. Current Egypt boss Shehata helped Contractors avenge their 1-0 defeat by Zamalek two years earlier in superb fashion. Two goals from Tamer Adel set the Mountain Wolves on their way to a thoroughly deserved 4-2 victory over a lackluster Zamalek side who could have been defeated by a bigger margin. Ahli 1-0 ENPPI (2005): Ahli became level with Zamalek on two titles when they overcame then Egyptian Cup winners ENPPI after extra time. They could not break down ENPPI's defense until extra time, with central defender Wael Gomaa being their unlikely hero. He struck the winner three minutes into the first half of extra time to hand Ahli the title. Ahli 1-0 ENPPI (2006): Another Ahli-ENPPI meeting one year later produced the same outcome. The brave ENPPI could not withstand sustained pressure from Ahli, who notched the winner deep in stoppage time through a goal from Mohamed Abou-Treika. The inspirational playmaker had a close-range shot blocked by ENPPI keeper Mostafa Kamal but he made no mistake on the rebound as Ahli took their tally to three Super Cup victories. Ahli 1-1 Ismaili, 4-2 on penalties (2007): Ahli won a third consecutive Super Cup title at the expense of bitter rivals Ismaili, who played instead of Zamalek after the latter withdrew. Ismaili went ahead on 32 minutes, thanks to a simple tap-in from skipper Mohamed Hommos. Then Ahli captain Shadi Mohamed leveled the score 11 minutes later after converting a penalty. The match went into extra time but both sides failed in their attempts to net a decisive goal. Ahli settled the tie in their favor in the penalty shootout. Ahli 2-0 Zamalek (2008): Ahli maintained their Super Cup dominance with an easy win over Zamalek, who approached the game on the back of a morale-boosting Egyptian Cup triumph that ended a four-year title drought. Ahmed Hassan, who joined Ahli from Belgian side Anderlecht few weeks earlier, put them ahead early in the first half when his cross-come-shot evaded a host of defenders and deceived keeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed. Holding midfielder Moataz Eno wrapped up the victory with a late volley from the edge of the area. Harras Hodoud 2-0 Ahli (2009): Harras Hodoud caused an upset to prevent 10-man Ahli from winning a fifth consecutive Super Cup and spoil Hossam Al-Badri's debut as their coach. Ahmed Mekki put Hodoud in front with a superb shot on the turn as early as the fifth minute and Ahli's equalizer hopes suffered a blow after defender Ahmed Al-Sayed was sent off before the interval. Ahmed Abdul-Ghani added the second in the 57th minute via a precise left-foot shot as Hodoud became the third team to win the Super Cup.
