Brazil have relieved manager Dunga of his duties following the team's exit from the World Cup quarter-finals. "Ending the cycle of work that began in August 2006, and ended with the elimination of Brazil from the World Cup in South Africa, the CBF announces that the technical committee of the national team has been released," a statement from the Brazilian federation read. Dunga's successor will be announced by the end of the month, with Luiz Felipe Scolari and Leonardo reportedly linked with the vacant seat. Dunga, who captained Brazil in their 1994 triumph in USA, helped the Selecao win Copa America in 2007 and the FIFA Confederations Cup last year.
