Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas said on Friday he would join Barcelona if he was to leave English side Arsenal. "I'm 23 and have a long career ahead of me. I have never hidden the fact that playing for Barcelona is a dream that I would like to fulfill and if I must leave Arsenal it would only be to play at Barca," Fabregas told reporters. Fabregas came through the youth ranks of Spanish giants Barcelona before moving to Arsenal as a 16-year-old prodigy in 2003. He established himself as an indispensable member of Arsenal's squad and took over the team's captaincy in 2008 after French defender William Gallas was stripped of it. Constant reports linked him with a move back to Barcelona during the past few years. With Arsenal enduring a fifth successive trophy-less season, those reports have re-surfaced. "Before I leave for the World Cup I want my future sorted," Fabregas, whose Arsenal contract runs out in 2014, added. "It benefits nobody if I go there with transfer talk on my mind."
