Juventus have relieved Ciro Ferrara of his duties as a head coach and installed Alberto Zaccheroni instead. The Old Lady sacked Ferrara after weeks of speculations over his future, as the Turin side suffered a string of poor results under his management. The Italian tactician's dismissal was announced right after Juventus's 2-1 loss to Inter Milan at San Siro in Thursday's Coppa Italia quarter-final match . Ferrara took the helm at Stadio Olimpico late last season after the Bianconeri fired Claudio Ranieri who's now in charge of Roma. Zaccheroni has been unemployed since 2007. He was close to being appointed at Cairo club Zamalek in the summer of 2008 but the deal eventually fell through.
