Amr Zaki might make his debut with Hull City when they face fellow Premier League relegation-threatened side Wolves, coach Phil Brown said on Wednesday. The combative striker, nicknamed the Bulldozer, joined Hull from Cairo giants Zamalek on loan until the end of the season. He missed Hull's 4-0 defeat to Manchester United last weekend as he was short of match fitness after recovering from a niggling hamstring injury. Zaki, who missed out on Egypt's African Cup of Nations campaign, is likely to be included in the Tigers' squad for the game against Wolves on Saturday. "He certainly looks hungry, he's got that glint in his eye," Brown told the Mail. "There seems to be that fire in the belly that we saw when he first came into English football with Wigan last season, and that's the Amr Zaki that we want to see. "He'll be training all week and he'll probably be pushing for a place on the bench." Sharp Zaki Zaki will be looking to replicate his promising displays with Wigan Athletic, the club he played for last season. He scored ten Premier League goals but his form faded in the second half of the season due to some disciplinary problems which eventually cost him a permanent stay with the Latics. "He met up with his team-mates on Friday and he's looked sharp," Brown added. "He knows what it takes to be a success in the Premier League and he knows what it takes to score goals at this level. "But getting up to the pace of the Premier League will be difficult and it might need us to introduce him from the bench to begin with until he gets up to speed again."
