Bologna president Francesca Menarini is convinced that the Serie A referees are still favoring Juventus when they preside over games at the Turin club. Menarini's controversial statements were released after her side drew 1-1 at Juventus on Sunday, as she believes the referee should have signaled for a penalty kick when home side's Cristian Molinaro felled Marco Di Vaio in the box. Although the tackle seemed to be bookable, the referee didn't point at the spot, which prompted the Bologna president to trigger new favoritism accusation. "The referees continue to be confused and conditioned by the team, the fans, the stadium and the city of Turin," Menarini told Radio Anch'io Sport. In 2006, Juventus were relegated to Serie B and handed a 17-point deduction for their part in the infamous Italian match-fixing scandal. They were also stripped of their 2005 and 2006 League titles.
