AC Milan have announced the signing of goalkeeper Flavio Roma from Monaco as they rescinded the contract of Zeljko Kalac. Roma, 35, signed a contract with the Rossoneri until June 2010 after eight seasons with French Ligue1 side Monaco. In the same context, Milan have decided to offload veteran keeper Kalac after the Aussie had failed to make any impact throughout his four years at San Siro. Milan had problems in goal in recent years, amid the inconsistency and injury problems of Dida, Christian Abbiati and Marco Storari.
