Real Madrid kept Primera Liga leaders Barcelona in sight with a 2-0 victory over Real Valladolid at Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday. Skipper Raul gave the hosts the lead one minute before the break to take his tally to 15 league goals. He diverted Gonzalo Higuain's low cross into the net from close range. Dutch winger Arjen Robben ensured the win eight minutes from time when he latched onto Guti's long ball to go through and fire into the bottom corner. Defending champions Real remained second in the league table on 69 points, six behind Barcelona.
