A last-gasp goal by Anwar Massoud helped Gaish secure a 2-2 draw with struggling side Telecom Egypt to deny coach Hossam Hassan his first win at the helm. Former Egypt striker Hassan was appointed as Telecom boss earlier this month in a bid to help them retain their top-flight status. His debut was spoiled by ENPPI, who defeated Telecom 1-0 and now he has seen his side stumble further to extend their winless streak to 14 games. Yassine Abdul-Aal gave Gaish the lead after eight minutes when he capitalized on some sloppy defending to fire home from inside the area. Veteran midfielder Amr Anwar leveled the score on 14 minutes with a superb header. Diminutive midfielder Wael Riad put Telecom ahead seven minutes after the restart. He raced onto Ahmed Omran's through pass inside the area before sending a low shot into the bottom corner. Telecom looked on course for a valuable win but Massoud notched home deep into stoppage time as Gaish secured a share of spoils. "I don't know why the referee added seven minutes after the regulation time. I do not remember that the match was stopped for that period," Telecom assistant coach Tarek Al-Saied fumed. Telecom lie third from bottom in the 16-team table on 21 points, four adrift of safety with seven matches to go. Gaish are ninth with 29 points. The match's goals
