Egyptian Cup beaten finalists ENPPI consoled themselves with a stunning 3-0 home victory over Ismaili in the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday. Adel Mostafa's brace and Ahmed Raouf's strike in the first half condemned Ismaili to an embarrassing defeat. ENPPI, who were beaten by Harras Hodoud in the Egyptian Cup final, moved into third spot in the league table with 29 points, four adrift of leaders Ahli, who have a game in hand. Ismaili, who also have 29 points, slipped to fourth due to their inferior goal difference to ENPPI as pressure mounts on Brazilian coach Ricardo Ferreira, who was recently given a vote of confidence by the club's board. Raouf opened the scoring after 14 minutes when he latched onto a deft through pass to go one-on-one with Mohamed Sobhi and slot home with aplomb. He took his tally to seven league goals, just one behind Mohamed Barakat, Mostafa Karim and Ahmed Gaafar. A dreadful blunder by the error-prone Sobhi gifted ENPPI a second goal in the 34th minute. In-form right-back Ahmed Al-Muhammadi got the better of Ahmed Samir Farag before providing an innocuous cross that should have been easily dealt with by Sobhi. But the ball suddenly slipped out of the 27-year-old keeper's grasp to find midfielder Mostafa, who poked into an empty net. Mostafa scored his second of the night just before the break to put the result beyond doubt. His curling free-kick from the edge of the area left Sobhi with no chance. Watch the match's goals
