Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has been accused of drunk-driving after he was seen driving his Range Rover rather dangerously. The police stopped the Nigerian by the break of dawn on Saturday near his club's ground in London's Fulham Road, hours before Chelsea's 3-1 win over Ipswich in the FA Cup. Mikel's irresponsible way of driving suggested that he was under the influence of alcohol, therefore was charged with suspected drink-driving. "We are aware (Mikel) was arrested and charged. We want to establish the facts before we comment," a Chelsea spokesman told The Sun. The 21-year-old is summoned to appear in the court of law on April 3rd. Mikel could either face one-year driving ban or be sentenced to time in jail.
