Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich were held to a 1-1 away draw by Nurnberg but maintained their seven-point advantage over Hamburg, who stumbled against Arminia Bielefeld. The hosts went ahead through Zvjezdan Misimovic one minute before the break. Bayern striker Lucas Podolski, who hinted that he may consider his options at the end of the season, came off the bench to notch the equalizer nine minutes from time. Mohamed Zidan's Hamburg, who lie second in the league table, failed to narrow the gap with Bayern following a 1-1 home draw with Bielefeld. Hamburg midfielder David Jarolim was sent off in the 66th minute and Bielefeld capitalized on their numerical advantage shortly after. Markus Bollmann put Bielefeld ahead six minutes later before Paulo Guerrero drew Hamburg level in the 83rd minute. Bielefeld finished with 10 men on the field as well. Jorg Bohme received his marching orders for a second bookable offense five minutes from time. Egyptian forward Zidan started on the bench and was introduced in the 54th minute instead of Ivica Olic.
