Ahmed Hassan's Anderlecht are set to face disciplinary action by UEFA, following their fans' behavior during Thursday's 1-1 UEFA Cup draw with Tottenham Hotspur in Brussels. Spurs midfielder Didier Zokora was struck with a lighter thrown from the home side's stands, while goalkeeper Paul Robinson handed the fourth official a metal rod he found near his area. "UEFA have opened disciplinary proceedings against Anderlecht for the throwing of objects by spectators," a UEFA spokesman said. "The control and disciplinary body will meet on December 13 to make a decision on this case." Zokora believes he was targeted by the Purple and White fans because of his past spell with their Belgian league rivals Genk between 2000 and 2004. Anderlecht could be fined or expelled from the competition, which saw Dutch giants Feyenoord thrown out last year due to crowd trouble.
