Liverpool thrashed Toulouse 4-0 at Anfield to conclude a 5-0 aggregate score line and cruise comfortably to the group stage. Peter Crouch opened the scoring for the Reds in his first start this season, Sami Hyypia and Dirk Kuyt (twice) completed the rout with second half goals. In Bucharest, Lazio took apart Dinamo Bucharest 3-1 at home, with marksman Tommaso Rocchi scoring twice. The Biancocelesti made up for their disappointing first leg 1-1 home draw, as they go through 4-2 on aggregate. Scotland's Rangers held on to a goalless draw at Red Star Belgrade, to reach the group stage, counting on their 1-0 first leg lead. The game between Sevilla and AEK Athens was postponed after the tragic death of Sevilla's Antonio Puerta three days after he collapsed in a league game on Saturday. The fixture will be move to September 3rd as the the Spanish side has a 2-0 first leg lead.
