Ahli will lure the services of international keeper Hamada Al-Naqib for the 2007 Super Globe set to be held on home soil from 4 to 10 June. Ahli's official website unveiled the deal with the Olympic's goalie saying it comes as an important step to strengthen the squad before the competition that comes as a part of Ahli's centennial celebrations. The four confederations' champions, Algerian Mouloudia Algiers (Africa), Kuwaiti Qadsiya (Asia), Spanish Ciudad Real (Europe), Brazilian Club Metodista Sao Bernardo (Pan-America) in addition to hosts Ahli will compete for the Super Globe. Naqib is Egypt's first choice and has been a part of the golden squad that ended fourth in the 2001 World Championship.
