Ahli have received a major boost with the news that playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika does not suffer any injury, the Egyptian champions said on Friday. Abou-Treika flew to Germany last Tuesday to undergo examinations to find out the real reasons behind the pain he suffers despite recovering from a groin injury sustained in January. In a phone call with the club's assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri, team doctor Ehab Ali revealed that German doctors assured Abou-Treika that he is fully fit to participate with the African champions, Ahli said on their official website. Portuguese boss Manuel Jose and Al-Badri both agreed that the 28-year-old should stay in Germany for further five days before returning home. Abou-Treika is now likely to take part in Ahli's African Champions League clash against South Africa's Sundowns on April seventh.
