A Lokomotiv Moscow delegation has arrived in Cairo on Monday to open talks with Egyptian giants Ahli and Zamalek regarding striker Amr Zaki for $1.7-million. Zamalek officials met the Russian delegation after their arrival, while Ahli are still seeking an appointment to try and land the former Enppi star, informed sources told FilGoal.com exclusively on Monday. Ahli have already tried to sign Zaki on a loan deal from Lokomotiv, but the Russian outfit refused, given their insistence on getting back the exact fee, $1.7-million, they had paid to sign the talented striker, who excelled with Egypt in their winning African Cup of Nations (ACN) campaign in February. Zaki sustained an injury at the beginning of his career with Lokomotiv in mid-march that saw him sidelined and cut short his future in Russia.
