Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard hailed his players after they reached the UEFA Champions League final for the first time since 1994 following a 1-0 aggregate victory over Italian giants AC Milan. "A great team made up of players of unquestionable quality," Rijkaard was quoted as saying by Barcelona's official website after the match. "I'm happy because the players have achieved the objective of reaching the final in Paris," he added. Barcelona reached the UCL final for the first time in 12 years after holding guests AC Milan to a goalless draw on Wednesday. The Catalan side advanced on a 1-0 aggregate victory after Ludovic Giuly's strike earned them a precious victory last week at the San Siro. The Dutch coach that the advancing past stubborn opponents Milan was never easy, as they had to work very hard in the return-leg at the Nou Camp. "They pressed much harder in the second half and we had to be very alert. So I would like to stress that we've had to work very hard to go though," he said. Rijkaard was cautious while speaking about the UCL anticipating final against English outfit Arsenal, who progressed after beating Spanish side Villarreal, in Paris on the 17th of May. "In a final you never know. Arsenal deserve to be there because they've done a great job. They'll be very dangerous opponents," he said.
