African champions Ahli have retained the CAF Super Cup title with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Tunisia's Sfaxien at Cairo Stadium. Playing before 30,000 supporters at Cairo Stadium, the Champions League holders were inspired by young striker Amr Gamal. The fit-again Geddo opened the scoring on 22 minutes as Gamal doubled the lead after the break. Ali Maaloul pulled one back for Sfaxien, only for the 22-year-old Gamal to add another in the 63rd minute. Shortly after, Sfaxien made sure Ahli end the game nervously as Tunisia international Fakhreddine Ben Youssef struck home, but that was not enough for the visitors. Ahli, already record champions, made it six titles to their name and a second in five years against Sfaxien. VIDEOS Geddo gives Ahli the lead after latching onto a cross from former Hull teammate Ahmed Fathi. Gamal volleys home after another crossed freekick, this time by Abdullah Al-Saied. Maaloul scores from the spot to make it 2-1. Gamal scores again with a powerful header, following a fine cross by Moussa Yedan. A wonderful strike by Ben Youssef for Sfaxien.
