Ghana manager Kwesi Appiah has named a 24-man squad for the World Cup qualifying playoff return leg against Egypt, as Schalke star Kevin-Prince Boateng and Esperance right-back Harrison Afful return. After being omitted from the thumping 6-1 victory over Egypt in the first leg in Kumasi, Boateng has been recalled after recovering from a knee problem as Afful missed the win through automatic suspension. Veteran keeper Richard Kingston, however, has been left out after returning against Egypt following a two-year absence as he was replaced by Daniel Agyei who plays for South Africa's Free State Stars. John Boye, Jonathan Mensah and Mohamed Rabou all remain sidelined. Egypt, who need at least five goals against the Black Stars to book a World Cup berth, host the second leg on November 19.
