Ahli have announced that Mohamed Youssef will be staying on as the team's head coach for next season. Youssef, who replaced Hossam Al-Badri last month, was initially hired to lead the team until the end of the current season. But the former Egypt international seems to have impressed Ahli's board by winning four straight matches with the Reds so far. Ahli are set to defend their league title against Zamalek, Ismaili, ENPPI/Smouha in the final playoffs next month. Youssef will also be in charge when the African champions open their CAF Champions League group campaign against Zamalek by the end of July.
