Mohamed Salah netted his fourth league goal of the season for Basel in a 4-0 Swiss league victory over Luzern. Following goals from Serey Die and Marcelo Diaz, Salah hit the third on 71 minutes before Phillip Degen completed the damage six minutes from time. Salah played 90 minutes as Egypt teammate Mohamed Al-Nenni came off the bench midway through the second half to replace Die. Basel retain top spot with 52 points, three ahead of second-placed Grasshoppers. The Swiss champions prepare for a tough Europa League encounter at Tottenham on Thursday.
